Dev Log #7 - Almost There!


Hey everyone, your resident Art Lead, Charlie here! 

The past couple weeks have been extremely busy, the whole team has been getting ready for our showcase event; Let's Break Games, on November 2nd. We're all in the final stretch, working hard to make the deadline. 

The past couple weeks, I've been working on the textures for the character models and props, as well as the cover and poster art for our game. The main timesink for me has been the poster art. I've been trying to make it look good, while also conveying a sense of dread. I think I've managed to achieve that, and am really happy with the final result! (Apologies for the low resolution, damn Itch's file size limit) 

We finally have a Team Logo! This will be used for the afformentioned event.


John is now fully textured. While other items have been textured (and many more are waiting), this is a bit of a milestone, as this is our main character! 


Our 3d Modeller, Arnold has finished modelling all the props, and is currently unwrapping the UVs, preparing them for me to jump in and get them textured! He's also being working hard to deliver amazing animations for our eneimes and main character.


In other news, Chelsea is continuing her work on the second level puzzles and level design, while Andrew is working hard on the inventory and combat systems, and integrating all our hard work into the game's scenes.
